My favorite way to prepare a turkey is to cover it in melted butter and rosemary (poultry seasoning works just as well). Bake covered at 350 degrees for 2 hours covered with tin foil. At 2 hours remove foil. Bake for a total of 15 minutes per pound. Occasionally open the oven and baste turkey in its juices (if there aren’t any juices, uses vegetable oil). Cook stuffed if desired.

For the gravy, heat turkey juices with equal parts water. Add flour or cornstarch until the desired consistency is reached.
